Druskininkai
About Druskininkai
Druskininkai is Lithuania's premier spa town, nestled among pine forests on the banks of the Nemunas River in the country's south. Famous for its mineral springs since the 18th century, the town has reinvented itself as a modern wellness and adventure destination while preserving its elegant spa-town character.
Beyond its world-class water parks and spa facilities, Druskininkai is also the birthplace of the legendary painter and composer M. K. Čiurlionis. The town is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes and offers the unique Grūtas Park — a Soviet sculpture garden that is equal parts fascinating and surreal.
