About Palanga

Palanga is Lithuania's most popular seaside resort, stretching along 18 km of sandy Baltic Sea coastline. Known for its lively summer atmosphere, the town transforms from a quiet retreat into a buzzing beach destination when warm weather arrives. The famous Basanavičius Street pedestrian boulevard leads straight to the pier — the social heart of Palanga.

Beyond the beach, Palanga boasts the magnificent Birutė Park with the Amber Museum housed in a stunning 19th-century palace, and the Botanical Garden — one of the finest in Lithuania. The town is also a gateway to nearby nature reserves and the quiet beauty of the Lithuanian coastline.
